The director behind the decks

Aléna Zlotskaya came to Dubai from Belarus a musician - piano from five, dance from eight, then a decade behind the decks. She's held residencies in some of the city's best rooms and played its beaches, rooftops and yachts.

Somewhere along the way she stopped just playing events and started designing them. She reads a room the way a DJ reads a crowd - where the energy dips, when it should rise, what the last song has to be. That instinct now runs the whole celebration, not only the music.

What began with weddings now spans every kind of occasion - bridal days, milestone birthdays, private parties and brand events.
